In 2025, our location work focused on Peru’s southern Andes, combining striking visual scale with proven logistical access. The Colca Valley, located approximately three hours by road from Arequipa, offers expansive canyon views, terraced landscapes, and winding rivers, all reachable via paved routes and supported by nearby towns for lodging, crew basecamps, and vehicle access. The high plains of Tinajani in Puno provide wide, unobstructed vistas and dramatic rock formations, accessible year-round by road and well suited for unit moves and small-format setups. Lake Titicaca, serviced through the city of Puno, allows for controlled water access, boat coordination, and nearby accommodations, while Llaca Lake in Huaraz, reached within an hour+ from the city, delivers alpine environments with road access suitable for technical crews and lightweight units.
Architectural and cultural locations complement these natural settings with efficient urban logistics. The Maras Salt Mines, located less than an hour from Cusco, combine unique visual patterns with established access routes and local coordination experience. In the City of Arequipa, productions benefit from a regional airport, reliable hotel infrastructure, and a historic center that offers a wide range of architectural looks within a compact area. The Monasterio de Santa Catalina, enclosed and highly controlled, allows for managed filming conditions ideal for period or narrative work.
Together, these locations demonstrate Peru’s ability to support complex shoots in visually powerful environments, backed by experienced crews, flexible permitting processes, and infrastructure that meets international production standards.
