Nauta is an up and coming restaurant in downtown Berlin. Nauta is also a small village 2 hours from Iquitos in the Amazon basin, close to where the Amazon river is born. This town serves as an inspiration to chef Juan Danilo, where he blends the food of his country, Peru, with Europe. We were lucky to help Lure Media capture the originality of this story by being able to interview the family and nanny of Juan Danilo. He couldn’t fly for the shoot so we worked a lot in trying to capture them without loosing their essence. We also traveled to Nauta/Amazonas with Juan Danilo’s nanny Wilma, who taught him how to cook, and had the chance to see where she was raised.
