PADDINGTON IN PERU

In 2023, we were contacted by Red Creek to assist Studiocanal in shooting the second unit for a film in Peru. This movie, featuring the beloved Peruvian bear Paddington, aimed to showcase several iconic locations across Peru, including Lima, Lima Province, Nazca, and Cusco.

The second unit was directed by John Sorapure and produced by Tim Wellspring, who both played crucial roles in bringing this part of the film to life.

Our work for this project included a wide range of services to ensure a smooth and efficient production process:

• Scouting: Identifying and securing the best locations to capture the beauty and essence of Peru.
• Pre-production: Coordinating all necessary preparations before filming began, including scheduling, budgeting, and logistics.
• Customs: Handling all customs processes to ensure that equipment and materials were transported into and out of the country without issues.
• Visas: Assisting the crew with obtaining the required visas and permits for their stay in Peru.
• Transportation: Arranging all transportation needs, including vehicles for crew and equipment, to ensure timely and safe travel between locations.
• We secured all necessary permits for filming in various locations, navigating the local regulations and ensuring that all legal requirements were met to avoid any disruptions.
• Local crew: Hiring and managing local crew members who brought valuable expertise and knowledge of the area to the production.
• Casting: We coordinated casting for local talent, finding extras who could bring authenticity to the scenes filmed in Peru. This involved auditioning and selecting individuals who best fit the roles required by the script.
