This edition of APU Productions’ project highlights features the Transformers: Rise of the Beasts Super Bowl spot, created from a production that brought the franchise to spectacular locations across Peru. We also revisit Saloon Media’s Mysteries from Above, which explored the Nazca Lines through aerial imagery, and feature Lake Junín as a distinctive location for international film and television productions.
FEATURED LOCATION | LAKE JUNIN
Lake Junin or Chinchaycocha (possibly from Quechua chincha, chinchay north, northern, chinchay ocelot, qucha lake, lagoon, "northern lake" or "ocelot lake") is the largest lake entirely within Peruvian territory. Even though Lake Titicaca has a much larger area, its eastern half is located on Bolivian territory. Lake Junin is an important birdwatching destination in the country.

Mysteries from Above is a new documentary series that sets out to investigate significant historic and contemporary sites from the revealing vantage points of drone, satellite, and aerial photography. Nazca was included as one of the locations in its first season.
