Operating the Catalina Huanca zinc and lead concentrate mine high up in the Peruvian Andes.
Trafigura has the fifth largest lead and zinc mine in Peru, called Catalina Huanca. This mine is high in the Ayacucho region of the Andes, above 3500m. Logistics require many hours of driving from the nearest airport on the capital of Ayacucho. Once there shooting included underground locations as well as exterior locations in the local communities.
