Last year we embarked in a very interesting 360° project.
Here be Dragons, one of the leading companies in VR, hired us to work on their worldwide project for Discovery called TRVLR (Traveler).

Trafigura has the fifth largest lead and zinc mine in Peru, called Catalina Huanca. This mine is high in the Ayacucho region of the Andes, above 3500m. Logistics require many hours of driving from the nearest airport on the capital of Ayacucho. Once there shooting included underground locations as well as exterior locations in the local communities.

This project required a lot of pre-production as it included some historic sites which are outside the tourist routes.
These historic sites required hours of trekking and preparation as horses and porters were needed for the shoot days.

Vanguard Digital Cinema, a company based in South Africa, contacted us for assistance during the shoot of the launch of the 2018 Kia Picanto. They were doing a South America campaign, first Colombia, then Ecuador and finally Peru.

Given is the simple yet powerfully contemplative story of a unique family legacy come full circle. Told through the visceral experience of 6 yr. old, Given follows legendary surfers Aamion and Daize Goodwin from their island home of Kauai through 15 different countries, including Peru, in the quest for surf and to fulfill a calling handed down through generations.
